Ford Motor Company Selects Penske as Logistics Provider for UK Facility
READING, Pa., January 29, 2006 - Today, Penske Logistics announced that Ford Motor Company has contracted with the company to provide material planning and handling services at its Southampton, UK facility that produces approximately 80,000 Ford Transit vans annually.

Penske Logistics, which is among an elite group of strategic suppliers to Ford through an Aligned Business Framework agreement in North America, officially began material planning and handling operations at the Southampton facility October 28, 2006. Penske also assumed responsibility for employing the facility's existing workforce.
