Penske Truck Leasing Opens New Davenport, Iowa, Location
There was a grand opening event today in Davenport, Iowa, asPenske Truck Leasing unveiled a $4.2 million state-of-the-art location in the Eastern Iowa Industrial Center.
“We’ve opened this location because Penske has simply outgrown our previous facility,” said Dan O’Boyle, Penske Truck Leasing senior vice president for the north central region. “With the move, we’re now more accessible to our customers arriving from I-80, I-74 and U.S. 61.”
The 11,800 square-foot building is situated on nearly eight acres, providing full-service truck leasing, consumer and commercial truck rental and contract maintenance services.
This facility has three service bays, a wash bay and a two-lane fuel island with bulk diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) available at the pump. There will be 15 Penske associates employed at this location. The maintenance shop utilizes leading-edge wireless technology that enables Penske’s service technicians to automatically connect vehicles for service with diagnostic and analytic software.
The facility was engineered to be capable of servicing natural gas vehicles.
